On this page you will find a list of calculators that makes it easy to calculate the amount of metal you need for your projects. Calculate the weight of a sheet, the length of a wire or how much fine gold you need to get a higher alloy and much more.
Enter alloy, diameter and thickness of the rondelle and calculate the weight per rondelle.
Creating a rondelle, use metal sheets. Enter the length and width equaling to the diameter of the rondelle you are creating.
Calculate the weight of an object based on an existing object. Enter alloy and weight of the existing object and then the alloy you want for the new object. The calculator then shows you the weight of the object you want to create.
The calculator cannot be used to calculate how much metal you need for changing the alloy of your metal. For that purpose you can use the calculator “Gold Alloying” in the bottom of the page.
Enter current length, current diameter and the new diameter to calculate the new length of the wire.
Remember that the diameter of a wire can only be minimized. The new diameter must therefore be lower than the current.
The calculator only handles round wire.
Calculate the amount of fine gold or other metals you need to change the alloy of your metal. Choose an alloy from the dropdown or enter the alloy per thousand.
Do you want a target alloy that are higher than the starting alloy you have to add fine gold. You can buy fine gold here.
There are many possibilities regarding alloy materials when you on the other hand want a target alloy that are lower than the starting alloy. See all alloy materials here.
