The raising hammer is particularly well-suited to shaping items such as bowls. This hammer is available in both narrow and wide versions. With spherical ends in different sizes, the embossing hammer is used to fashion metal into round shapes. Here you can find hammers where the head is made of stainless steel and the shaft is made of American ash. The riveting hammer also has a stainless steel head, but is distinguished by the fact that one end is flat and the other is chisel-shaped, which makes it perfect for riveting work.

Hammers for watchmakers

In Aktiv Guld’s range you can also find wooden hammers that are ideal for repair work and which ensure that you do not damage the metal when fashioning items. Wooden hammers with or without a conical head are particularly useful if you are knocking pins into watch strap links or do not wish to leave any marks in the metal. Our range also includes two watchmaker hammers consisting of a nylon end and a brass end, which makes them the perfect tools for watchmakers.

At Aktiv Guld we also have plastic hammers that have interchangeable end pieces in both nylon and plastic. These hammers with soft ends help to ensure that no marks are left on the metal and are therefore ideal for watchmakers and goldsmiths. The UN’s 17 Global Goals

In 2015 the UN defined its 17 Global Goals For Sustainable Development, which we at Aktiv Guld find helpful when discussing what we already do in terms of sustainability and what we need to do better. Goal 12 is focused on responsible consumption and production, and, as such, this goal is key to us at Aktiv Guld. At Aktiv Guld we only sell gold that is certified as recycled and we support similar certification schemes for silver.

In addition, our focus is on Sustainable Development Goals 4 and 8, which are based on quality education and decent work and economic growth. At our address in Vallensbæk we hold our engraving and stone-setting courses several times a year. It is important to us at Aktiv Guld to maintain traditional methods of craftsmanship, in addition to which we would like to strengthen the industry with further training and keep it up to date with the latest techniques and technologies.
