Skamolex is a highly refractory product made from exfoliated vermiculite.

Its resistance to very high temperature makes it especially suitable for the goldsmith when working with soldering tasks.

It dose not contain any ceramic or asbestos fibres and is non-dusting and odourless.

Though its light weight and mechanical strength it is easy to cut and shape with ordinary tools. Makes it ideal for soldering and brazing.
