ECO-Maxi Disc Finishing System, OTEC
This OTEC ECO-Maxi Disc Finishing System offers you three processes with just one machine. The modular concept of the Eco-Maxi makes it ideal for small series production. Their high-tech design makes these machines extremely economical, with savings being as much as 60 % compared to the cost of conventional finishing.
The OTEC ECO Maxi System comes with OTEC ECO-Maxi Basic unit, three containers for different processes, incl. media sets and sieving units:
Step 1: Magnetic polishing
This container is designed for magnetic polishing, the essential preparatory step before wet treatment.
In just 15-30 minutes, you’ll achieve impressive results:
✔ The complete removal of oxidation and imbedded mass residuals
✔ Shine also in delicate areas which are difficult to access
Step 2: Wet processing
With this process, you can achieve impressive results in just 3-4 hours – a task that would otherwise take several days with traditional technologies. The surface becomes smooth and even, without the risk of hardening or unwanted "orange peel" effect, thanks to the use of special "soft" abrasives.
The results are:
✔ Complete removal of emery traces and casting skin
✔ Clean and light work piece surfaces
Step 3: Dry polishing
In the final step, you achieve a brilliant shine and very smooth surfaces. Polishing granules made from walnut shells ensure a gentle treatment, where material removal occurs in the micro-area – without the risk of damaging set diamonds, cubic zirconia, or pearls.
✔ Polishing in just 2-3 hours
✔ Fine polishing in about 30 minutes
✔ Mirror-like finish – comparable to hand polishing
