We recommend this flux for all gold and silver solders with a working temperature below 720 °C (optimal efficiency).

The flux is also excellent for removing stubborn oxides such as B. Ni oxides and Co oxides.

Oxide Removal Application:

1. First the entire workpiece is wetted with BrazeTec h and then heated until 400 – 450 °C. During this heat treatment, a glassy, water-soluble layer forms that absorbs oxides.
2. This is then carefully washed off with hot water.
3. If the consistency of the flux paste has become too thick, use less be diluted by adding methylated spirits.
