What is ultrasonic cleaning?

It is the most effective and simple method to clean jewelry and watches, even on very small parts that are otherwise difficult to clean thoroughly. Often, just a few minutes in an ultrasonic cleaner is enough to leave your items completely clean. After cleaning in the ultrasonic machine, rinse the items in clean water and wipe them with a soft cloth.

An alternative to ultrasonic machines is cleaning jewelry with a brush and soapy water. However, this can easily scratch your items. Ultrasonic cleaning, on the other hand, is highly effective and cleans without scratching or damaging the surfaces of your items.

Avoid scratched surfaces

To prevent scratches, your items should not touch each other in the ultrasonic cleaner. Additionally, ensure that items do not touch the metal sides or bottom of the ultrasonic tank, as this can damage both your items and the ultrasonic cleaner over time. Steam cleaning, or Steamer as it is also known, is an alternative to ultrasonic machines. Microscopic steam particles penetrate the most inaccessible crevices and smallest indentations. The steam thoroughly removes dirt such as dust, grease, and polishing compound, leaving the cleaned item sparkling clean. The steamer is ideal for cleaning chains, rings, watch bands, and watch cases.

The steamer is gentle and environmentally friendly. No chemical cleaning agents are used, so there are no calcium or soap residues left on the clean surfaces. Unlike ultrasonic machines, you do not need to rinse the cleaned items in clean water afterward, and the items appear dry and shiny.
